Larry Kasperek has been defending clients in state and federal criminal actions since 1985. His clients have included individuals and publicly held corporations. His representation has covered a broad range of charges and potential charges, including tax crimes, money laundering, mail fraud, public corruption, narcotics and firearms violations, homicide and violent crimes, computer and internet offenses, DWI and obstruction of justice. He has been qualified as a capital trial attorney in New York State and the United States District Court.

Larry appears frequently in state and federal post-conviction appellate, administrative and SORA proceedings. He also has experience in state and federal civil rights litigation, and first amendment free speech litigation.

Prior to joining Easton Thompson Kasperek Shiffrin LLP, he was a criminal trial attorney for the Monroe County Public Defender's Office for fourteen years, before beginning a solo practice in 1999. He has presented at Continuing Legal Education seminars for both the Monroe County and Ontario County Bar Associations, and served as a guest lecturer at RIT, Monroe Community College and area high schools.

Larry is a member of the New York State Bar Association, ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, New York Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association.
