ETKS Partner Rhian Jones and Associate Benjamin Wittwer Secure “Not Guilty” Verdict on a 17-Count Indictment

On May 15, 2025, former Wheatland-Chili Central School District substitute teacher Robert Petit was found not guilty on all charges. Mr. Petit was charged with 11 counts of first-degree sexual abuse and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child last spring after the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into accusations of inappropriate touching made by three elementary school students. A jury trial was held in Monroe County Court for three works before Mr. Petit was acquitted of the charges. ETKS partner Rhian Jones and associate Ben Wittwer represented Mr. Petit on trial.
