Most recently, Don and Mr. Shields have worked tirelessly representing protestors in Rochester who attended the Black Lives Matter rallies in 2020.

ETKS Defense attorney Benjamin Wittwer has been involved in civil rights litigation since law school in which he worked on high profile cases. From 2024 to 2025, Ben served as the Deputy Executive Director and Director of Investigations on the Police Accountability Board in Rochester, NY. As a chief legal advisor, Ben oversaw all misconduct investigations and presented reports to the Board.
